Updated 06 November 2018 – The new UN Automated Flight Following service provider for provision of Aviation Global Satellite Tracking solution is Blue Sky Network and Air Transportation Companies under long term charter are required to have an active compliant aircraft-tracking unit that transmits real-time automatic geospatial tracking flight data with event logging capabilities to the United Nations Aviation Global Satellite Tracking Service provider Blue Sky Network. UN technical standards for aircraft flight following remain unchanged and adherence is still required.
