The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. The Secretary-General and the President exchanged views on Guyana’s Presidency of the Security Council and on the meeting held today on the impact of climate change and food security. They also discussed regional issues, including bilateral relations with Venezuela and the situation in Haiti.
