The United Nations Division for the Advancement of Women/Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the Criminal Justice Reform Unit/United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (CJRU/UNODC) will jointly organize a panel discussion on the role of the criminal justice system in addressing violence against women. The event will take place on 25 April 2006, in conjunction with the fifteenth session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
