At the 10th meeting, on 19 October, the representative of Japan, also on behalf of Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Portugal, the Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, introduced a draft resolution entitled “Observer status for the Energy Charter Conference in the General Assembly” (A/C.6/62/L.3 and Corr.1). At its 13th meeting, on 23 October, the Committee adopted draft resolution A/C.6/62/L.3 and Corr.1 without a vote.
