Area of Solutions: Reduction in pollution and Youth
As part of an English for Academic Purposes class, students at NYU Shanghai organized a sustainability campaign based on an SDG and initiative of their choice. This campaign is carried out on campus for over a week and engages all members of the university community.
They held their campaign in front of the university cafeteria where 500+ people pass by per day.
"Be A Vegetarian For One Day" was adopted by all members of the class (42 people) and awareness-raising for over 500 members of the NYU Shanghai community, some of whom also adopted this pledge.
