Events for Higher Education Institutions and the SDGs
In the sidelines of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, the Academic Impact and partners will be hosting two events for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on 15 July 2024.
The launch event for the sustainability evaluation tool for higher education institutions (SET4HEI) is a hybrid event that will present the final SET4HEI self-evaluation indicators and certification.
HESI Global Forum 2024: The Future of Higher Education for Sustainable Development, is an in-person event highlighting the critical role of higher education in achieving sustainable development.

Goal of the Month | July 2024: Goals 1, 2, 13, 16 & 17
The United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) is the central United Nations platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the global level. This year's theme is "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”, therefore the focus for the SDG of the month of July is on SDG #1 No Poverty, SDG #2 Zero Hunger, SDG #13 Climate Action, SDG #16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SGD #17, Partnership for the Goals.
