The President discussed the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 70th session of the General Assembly with the Chairs of the Regional Groups, H.E. Fodé Seck, Permanent Representative of Senegal and Chair of the group of African States, H.E. Dato Abdul Ghafar Ismail, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam and Chair of the group of Asia-Pacific States, H.E. Milan Milanović, Permanent Representative of Serbia and Chair of the group of Eastern European States, H.E. Menissa Rambally, Permanent Representative of Saint Lucia and Chair of the group of Latin American and Caribbean States and H.E. Catherine Boura, Permanent Representative of Greece and Chair of the group of Western European and other States. H.E. Mogens Lykketoft expressed serious concerns about the situation of migrants and refugees and called for collective action of all member states of the United Nations.
