The President of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Mogens Lykketoft met with Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Yi. Mr. Wang Yi expressed China’s support for the President’s agenda for the 70th session of the General Assembly, particularly the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, peace operations and rule of law. They further discussed the selection process of the next Secretary-General, the reform of Security Council and exchanged of views on the global refugee crisis and the situation in Syria and the Middle East.
