The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Noor Bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the Minister briefed the President on Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to achieving the SDGs.
The President expressed gratitude for the support received by the Kingdom of Bahrain during his Presidency of Hope and congratulated the Kingdom for establishing a Ministry dedicated to Sustainable Development.
Both sides also discussed other relevant topics such as COVID-19 recovery, Food security, climate change, and youth.
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
