72nd session (2017) – Consideration of decolonization items

On 7 December 2017, the General Assembly considered the reports of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) on agenda items concerning decolonization (items 58-62, for details concerning decolonization items and the Fourth Committee’s decolonization segment, see the corresponding Fourth Committee page). In the same meeting, the General Assembly adopted a total of 21 resolutions and one decision, as recommended by the Fourth Committee in its reports (see below table).
