Cairo Eubanks is the Youth Representative of the New Future Foundation International (NFFI) to UN DGC. In addition to being the Youth Representative for NFFI, she represents them as a 2020-2022 UN DGC Civil Society Youth Steering Committee Member. She is also the Global Correspondent for Global Oved Dei Seminary and University (GODSU), an interfaith e-learning institution. Her portfolio has taken her to Jamaica, Brazil, Morocco, Senegal, and Azerbaijan. Ms. Eubanks is the CEO of CairoSpeaks/CairoWrites, LLC., a consulting firm which specializes in executive coaching and enhancing both interpersonal communication skills and executive writing. CairoSpeaks offers speech coaching sessions, as well as leadership development programs for emerging and established leaders. CairoWrites offers ghostwriting to busy international leaders and business executives.

Hawa Diallo, Chief of the Civil Society Unit at the Civil Society and Advocacy Section, UN Department of Global Communications has extensive United Nations experience in public information outreach and fostering civil society partnerships, with a particular emphasis on youth and women’s organizations. Ms. Diallo began her United Nations career in 1987 in the Department of Public Information and has served in two United Nations Peacekeeping Operations in Cambodia and Somalia, respectively. She has also worked for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat) in Nairobi, as an Associate Human Settlements Officer and as a Partners and Youth Officer.

Veda F. Hudge has dedicated her life’s work to service in the field of education with passion and purpose. Through traditional and innovative approaches, her work is driven by the importance of always providing a high-quality and equitable education for all children within an atmosphere of excellence. That purpose has also inspired and driven her collaborative efforts in influencing, impacting, empowering, and leading the changes necessary to develop and perfect a more connected education system that effectively and uniquely serves the individual and collective needs of all its stakeholders and their places within it.

A Broward County native, Mrs. Hudge is a wife of 30 years and mother of three with three grandchildren.  As a graduate of Broward County Public Schools, she began her career in Broward County 32 years ago. She started as an elementary school teacher developing and motivating young minds. With her leadership traits always shining through, she was quickly promoted to a district-based instructional coach to expand her influence to lead, coach, and support other teachers to increase student achievement. Additional school leadership roles followed where Mrs. Hudge served as a high-impact elementary school assistant principal and principal where student outcomes increased. Her natural leadership and initiative led her to become recognized for district leadership opportunities aligned to high-quality education initiatives as the Director of A++ /No Child Left Behind, Director of Accountability, and Director of Strategic Achievement.

In her current role as the Executive Director of the Office of Student Services, Veda Hudge is responsible for the design and implementation of student support delivery systems. She has a laser focus on student achievement, graduation/post-secondary readiness, dropout prevention, and personal growth in accordance with the Standard of Student Services Policy and the District Strategic Plan. She also leads efforts to collaborate with community agencies and organizations to develop resource and revenue streams including grants, in-kind services through public/private partnerships, Medicaid and other means, in order to enhance the support services provided to students, schools, and their families.

Belinda Daise is the Supervisor for Social and Emotional Learning in Broward County Public Schools.  She has been an educator for 27 years as a teacher, school counselor, and school counseling director.  She has been nominated for Teacher of The Year, Named Broward Schools Middle School Counselor of the Year, Nominee for Florida School Counselor of the Year, and recognized as one of South Florida’s Top Black Educators by Legacy Magazine of South Florida.  During her career she has created student focused programs and initiatives that support family engagement, college readiness, academic success, and emotional wellness.  She believes that all students have geniuses, and it is her passion to help them discover what they are. Belinda is inspired by her husband and three children.  In her free time, she enjoys crafting and serving her community.

Mugahed Alameri is an internationally oriented development specialist. He is PhD Candidate in global conflict analysis. He worked with government and international organizations, and he has five years of experience in coordinating communication and public relations strategy, monitoring campaign execution, and handling public perception crisis situations. Alameri has interned for United Nation and worked closely with second committee for economic and social council. Two years ago he established the Global Aid for Development and Rights (GADR) which aims at achieving the sustainable Development Goals in Yemen and promoting awareness of the public rights in Education and Food insecurity.

Ali is a youth development professional who brings with him over 14 years of experience as a human rights advocate and a youth mobilizing force. He has worked with numerous multilateral organizations in various capacities and has developed programs on youth and gender. He founded International Youth Conference in 2019, since then engaging youth from global south. In his role with UNFPA, he engaged with a group of university students to present youth mobilization programs to various targeted communities. Ali is currently serving as the Consultant for United Nations Affairs at AFS Intercultural Programs and a Civil Society Representative to the United Nations Department of Global Communications and previously served as Co-Chair to Youth Representative Steering Committee, UN Department of Global Communications and Co-Chair for youth planning sub-committee for 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference in 2019.

Going through poverty in the 2008 stock market crash, strangers aided her family through community service. She wanted to give the kindness she received when her family was in trouble; inspiring her to create Reading With Royalty. At fourteen she founded, “Reading With Royalty,” a virtual book reading initiative aimed at encouraging imagination and providing an avenue for children in hospitals to feel connected to the world around them at this time. Sudan, a global leader, is a youth volunteer for NFFI - JA (New Future Foundation INC., The Jamaican Chapter; a United Nations NGO) has been working to bridge the socioeconomic gap through donating printers, tablets, and professional clothing items to disadvantaged children in Jamaica.
