Discussion on LDCs and the right to development - 6th session of the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development

The Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development will hold its 6th session from 31 October to 2 November 2022. The meeting will be hybrid, and webcast live.  In addition to the general debate with Member States and other stakeholders, a coordination meeting with the Chair-Rapporteur of the Working Group on the Right to Development and the Special Rapporteur on the Right to Development, a dialogue with members of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and other discussions, the Expert Mechanism will hold a dialogue with civil society to support the right to development and dedicate one meeting to discuss issues pertaining to Least Developed Countries and the right to development (2 November 2022, 11:00-13:00. CET).
