WTO Seminar on LDC priorities in global trade

6-8 December 2022.

The seminar will bring together capital-based government officials from least developed countries (LDCs), ambassadors, delegates and trade experts to explore trade topics of importance to LDCs. The participants will discuss the outcomes of the 12th Ministerial Conference, factors shaping global trade and ways of strengthening the multilateral trading system. They will also share experiences on how to strengthen LDC capacity to trade. The aim is to take stock of the latest state of play in WTO discussions, identify current challenges and determine the support needed to help LDCs fully realize their trade potential. The seminar is part of the WTO's technical assistance plan, and it is dedicated for capital-based LDC participants only.
