The Peer Learning Group (PLG) Meeting was organised in the framework of the Production Transformation Policy Review (PTPR) of Bangladesh. The PTPR of Bangladesh is carried out at the request of the Government of Bangladesh. It is implemented by the OECD Development Centre with the financial contribution of the European Commission.

South-South Exchange on Preparing Smooth Transition Strategies: Graduating cohort of 2021 | Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States

In 2021, the Committee for Development Policy for the United Nations (CDP) recommended Bangladesh, Lao PDR, and Nepal for graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status.

Organized by the Governments of Bangladesh and Nepal, this event was held as a side-event to ESCAP's 78th Session.
