WomenWatch
RSS feed
What is RSS?
The WomenWatch RSS feed is a convenient and effective way of keeping up to date with the latest content and updates on WomenWatch, without having to constantly check our website for updates.
The WomenWatch feed uses "Really Simple Syndication" (RSS). RSS allows users to obtain updates automatically whenever fresh online resources become available.
The WomenWatch RSS feed consists of headlines and summaries
which are accompanied by links to the new additions to the
WomenWatch directory.
How can I view RSS feeds?
RSS news feeds can be read with a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks for RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them.
There are many different versions of news readers, some of which are accessed
using a web browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
Browser-based
news readers let you catch up with your RSS feed subscriptions from any computer,
whereas downloadable applications let you read and store them on your main computer,
in the same way you read and store your E-Mail with Outlook or Lotus Notes.
Please use your favorite search engine to find a news reader that best fits your
situation. A list of news readers (also called news aggregators) can be
found on the RSS
Help pages of UN Women.
Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content
you want to receive in your news reader, by finding and subscribing to the various
RSS feeds:
- Drag the orange RSS icon into your news reader, or
- Drag the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader, or
- Cut and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader
