2-13 DECEMBER 2019
MADRID SPAIN

The SDG Pavilion at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) in Madrid, Spain, aims to bring together experts and policymakers leading the implementation of climate action and the Sustainable Development Goals around the world for a series of discussions on how to accelerate action across both the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Climate Change Agreement.

From 2-13 December 2019, the SDG Pavilion will provide a platform for practitioners and experts across all sectors and levels to share experiences and ideas on how best to leverage tangible action on the ground through thoughtful policies, programmes and multi-stakeholder partnerships by making use of climate and development synergies to achieve the SDGs and implement climate action, maximizing benefits and leaving no one behind.

The Pavilion, organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, will host interactive dialogues and discussions on key thematic areas such as climate, energy, oceans, water, food, gender and transport, and will serve as a stepping stone for the UN’s upcoming Global Sustainable Transport Conference and Ocean Conference in 2020. The SDG Pavilion is organized in partnership with UNFCCC and in collaboration with UN system and other partners.
