Participation

Virtual and in-person participation to the Third Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was open to all Members States, representatives of civil society and media through publicly available registration forms. Participation was free of charge. However, travel and accommodation costs and arrangements were the sole responsibility of the participants.

Registration deadline for in-person participation was 24 June 2022. Extended deadline for local in-person participants (participants who did NOT need visa to enter Japan) - was 18 July 2022.

Registration deadline for virtual participation was 18 July 2022.

Due to travel restrictions, only limited in-person participants have been confirmed by the Conference Secretariat.

A limited number of side events were held on 20-21 July 2022. The registration for side events in the margins of the Third Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was open through 27 June 2022. The summaries of side events are now published and are available here.
