Global Principles for Information Integrity
The United Nations released the Global Principles for Information Integrity, offering a comprehensive framework to guide multistakeholder action for a healthier information ecosystem. This framework consists of five key principles designed to strengthen information integrity, each supported by recommendations for key stakeholders.
The Principles build on the ideas proposed in Our Common Agenda and the United Nations Secretary-General’s policy brief, Information Integrity on Digital Platforms.
Summit of the Future Action Days
To generate additional opportunities for the engagement of all actors, the Secretary-General of the United Nations is convening the Summit of the Future Action Days on 20 and 21 September 2024 at UN Headquarters in New York.
