Uma Rani, Senior Economist at the ILO's Research Department and lead author of the Digital labour platforms in Kenya: Exploring women’s opportunities and challenges across various sectors report, reflects on the current state of STEM education in Africa and the challenges and opportunities it holds for generating decent jobs for Africa's youth.
