Chair

    Mr. Denis Ishikawa dos Santos is a career diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil since 2006. He is currently serving at the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations, in New York, as an expert at the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly.  

    Mr. Ishikawa dos Santos has previously served as an advisor at the Diplomatic Planning Unit and the Minister’s Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, as well as in its East Asia Division. He has also worked at the Embassies of Brazil in Tokyo, Paris and Addis Ababa.

    Mr. Ishikawa dos Santos holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Sao Paulo and has completed professional studies in the Brazilian National School of Public Administration (ENAP) and the Brazilian diplomatic academy (Instituto Rio Branco).
