Pursuant to paragraphs 29 and 32 of resolution 2255 (2015) and section 5 paragraph (c) of the Committee’s Guidelines, Member States are strongly urged to consult with the Government of Afghanistan when considering submitting listing or delisting proposals to the Committee in order to ensure coordination with the Government of Afghanistan’s peace and reconciliation efforts.
Members States are encouraged to copy the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations in all official communications addressed to the national contact point of the Government of Afghanistan:
