8 Note: as of 17 December 2009, the Office of the Ombudsperson receives the de-listing requests; on 17 June 2011 the Consolidated List of Individuals and Entities maintained by this Committee was split, with two sections becoming part of a new list to be maintained by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1988 (2011). From 17 December 2015 onward, the List became known as the ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List, and the Committee became known as the 1267/1989/2253 ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee.
